Trademark registrations in Argentina are valid for ten (10) years from the date of registration. It is essential to confirm (i) The exact registration date; (ii)

As of 2019 on, it is possible to renew a trademark in Argentina from 6 (six) months before expiration or up to 6 (six) months after its expiration. In the latter case, extra fees must be paid for the delay.
- Verify whether the Mid Term Declaration of Use was filed
For trademarks registered in Argentina as of January 12, 2013, a Sworn Mid Term Declaration of Use (DJUMT) must be filed between the fifth and sixth year from the registration date. If the DJUMT was not filed within that timeframe, it must be submitted at the time of renewal, along with the payment of additional fees for each year of delay.
